Lately, I have been very busy with my works at Websiteblitz as well as my freelance works and it is a bit hard to find a time to update my portfolio and website. It seems the online business is starting to picking up in 2011. (which is good for website developer or designer -> ME)
But I need to start learning something new and I can’t rely on my current skills. I think the future of web development industry will be around WordPress and Drupal.
E-Commerce Open Source
There are a lot of E-Commerce open source software out there and they offer different features. I managed to play around with OsCommerce and ZenCart before, but I don’t think that’s enough because both of them seem just getting lost in pace with Magento, PrestaShop or X-Cart. These are the open source software that I’d like to discover next to expand my experience in using e-commerce open source software.
